Technology Skills

I NEVER TEACH MY PUPILS, I ONLY ATTEMPT TO PROVIDE THE CONDITIONS IN WHICH THEY CAN LEARN - ALBERT EINSTEIN

This category addresses your ability to integrate technology into your professional practice in innovative and effective ways.

Wodify

This app has been very helpful in tracking our fitness workouts and goals. It is an app you can download on your phone and log our weekly workouts. It allows students to encourage each other and see how they ranked in the class that day for the workout. (I do stress how the leader-board isn't what matters, rather your effort level is what truly matters. But do encourage them to use it as motivation. and a data collection for potential and expected growth.

Document Camera

The document camera I was issued has been a WONDERFUL tool in the classroom. I am able to easily plug it into my laptop, position my camera over my artwork that I am doing a demo over, hook my laptop up to the TV and I am able to zoom in and show techniques to the whole class all at once. This is very useful especially in art when I do a lot of up close technique demos.

Chromebooks

We use our Chromebooks almost daily in the classroom. They are a great resource to us in that my scholars are able to to research and create documents super fast and easy. This allows them to take ownership of their knowledge intake and know they have to power to learn as much as they want!

SeeSaw

SeeSaw has been a very helpful resource for 4th and 5th grade and how we communicate and share work.
